This is the Ultimate Edition which includes the $30 Phantom Liberty expansion. It's a substantial story campaign. Its lowest sale price on record was $18, and the base game's record low was $17.50. So, this deal exactly matches the combined historical sale prices of the content sold separately.

I bought the PS4 disc drive a guy on Facebook and it came with an upgrade to PS5. What an awesome game.

If you don't get Ultimate for the Phantom Liberty storyline you're doing yourself a disservice. Game is an absolute masterpiece. Make sure you hard save on your way to to look for Silverhand's body and hard save before you make the "big decision" sitting in the chair on the roof.

No, PS Store regularly offers sales with deep discounts. However, this is not a Sony game. Sony has no control over the prices of 3rd party games; the publishers control the prices. The lowest Sony discounts their own PS5 games is typically $30. Though some have gone as low as $20 on rare occasions. Nothing has changed since their announcement to discontinue disc production.

I remember when the game first came out and was getting DUMPED on for the performance. Best Buy had massive piles of the game for $5 each. Since they fixed it, obviously it's back to "normal". One of the best games I've played in a while

Just an FYI for those wanting physical. I'm pretty sure that the Phantom Liberty expansion on PS5 is a DLC and NOT on the disc. Not sure why as XBOX disc does include the DLC. This may have changed, but when I was looking to purchase the physical version, this was what they were doing.
