how does it compare to $1299

Dell Tower Desktop
Intel Core Ultra 7 265F
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB
32GB RAM DDR5 Ram 1 Module
1TB SSD -
Windows 11 Home

the HP got the better GPU with 16 GB
but got only 16 GB SYSTEM RAM with no upgrade option due both slots are taken
got the weaker CPU

the Dell have only RTX 5060 with 8 GB
but got 32 GB System Ram with one slot open to expand to 64 GB
faster an newer CPU

any thoughts ?

I have this pc with 265f and 5060ti and I love the size, its tiny, only complaint is memory speed and no xmp or expo, this one would be perfect for steam os with all amd.

Go with the Dell for ram and for a more versatile powerhouse machine, then upgrade your video card down the road if it doesn't perform like you want? Better yet, if you have a Microcenter near you, you can buy a system just like these with better components for about the same money and have the joy of learning to assemble it yourself! I built a hybrid of these two options for between $1200 and $1300, the Intro 270k+ 32gb, and a 9060xt 16gb

That's a little more than a bit. Not bad if you sit at a desk, but in the living room I don't think anyone wants to see this thing.
