Did anyone else get the old PS1 box sets for Lunar 1 and 2 back in the day? Hardcover booklets, fabric maps, soundtracks - they were the prized jewels of my little game library back in middle school lol

If you like old school JRPGs I recommend this one. I played and beat the first game last year and enjoyed it. It did not overstay its welcome like most JRPGs these days. I still need to play the second game eventually.

This game blew my mind when I first played it on Sega CD. Coming from NES, we rented the sega and sega cd from the rental store. The anime cut scene and then the real audio was amazing.

I just played through the remaster collection earlier this year and highly recommend.

Now someone tell Konami to give us a definitive edition of SOTN

Same, both this and the second game (to say nothing of Popful Mail, Albert Odyssey (Saturn) and Working Designs' other great RPG's.

Still annoyed that we never got Lunar 3.

Thank you. I just ordered this for $45 and haven't opened it.

This was a favorite game of mine on Sega CD. I still sing the opening song 30 years later.

Yepp - had it on Sega CD and jumped on the PS1 versions including getting the demo disc where you can get 'stuck'. The demo had it to where you could transfer the ocarina to Nall but that wasn't in the full version. If you did this, you would not be able to beat the very end of the game since it's stuck with Nall and couldn't be traded back - forcing you to restart. At least Working Designs figured this out and warned people to ensure the ocarina was in Alex's inventory before moving from the demo to the full version.
