I bought one from Ikea and I can confirm that it's a meaningful difference compared to the other comforter I use. I don't understand the mechanics and it's not the same as having AC but it is noticeably cooler to the touch so when using it at night, it provides a nice sensation and reduces the "I sleep so hot" or "waking up sweating in the middle of the night" type sensations. I don't think it's cooler than sleeping without a blanket

Got this one and it's actually really nice. Wasn't a huge fan of the bright colors, so I spent the extra $5 (after coupon) on the Dark Grey color.

Felt very thin, but I think that's kind of the point? Super soft and does chill, even in the high heat. Weather is 100+ today, indoor temp is 85 and it feels cooler under this "blanket" than outside of it.

Only wish it were a bit larger
