Got mine in the apple's box. Got a lot of scratches on the both side of charging case. They aren't really "like new" condition. Going to return it.

got mine.. they won't charge. case gets hot. it is authentic after checking the serial number on apple's site. scratches on the case. good thing there are extra ear tips vs. a previous refurbished one i got from amazon (no extra ear tips there)

Hopefully you can use the AppleCare coverage to get them fixed or replaced

Got mine too, came in apple case everything works good so far. These fit my ears better than pros 2 taht keep falling out

Op here got mine, they look great, like new condition in an apple box with airpod tips. They also have 60 days left of apple care and were not paired to another account.

Mine looked like new and limited warranty is still for 1 year. Perhaps I got lucky

Just got mine - looked like new, just had to wipe some marks and got the "not your airpods" but it added my name on pairing which is usually what happens with new units. Warranty said 6/12 first but now it says 1 year from now and I can add AppleCare so looks like it's new. Got lucky

Also my experience, I will be activating the AppleCare. Makes this a steal to have them for such a cheap price with warranty.

I bought 2 AirPods from this deal. ONE SET WAS FAKE. A really good fake. The serial number matched the software, they looked nearly identical. They even connected like real ones where opening the charging case would bring the popup on your iPhone(though much more inconsistently than real ones) I took the earbud out and noticed they were lighter immediately. Without the other airpods and case to compare, which I can only assume are real ones at this point(I'll take them to an Apple Store to confirm maybe), I might not have been able to tell just by looking at them at first glance. Then when I listened to a song I noticed the sound quality was horrible compared to the others'. Also, the case chime would go off when I opened or closed the case sometimes with random sequences of chimes, the touch sensors didn't need the pinch motion to activate, a light brush of skin only on the flat surface would activate them. The connection to my phone would go in and out. I eventually compared the evenness of the panel gaps of the hinge and noticed the fake's gaps were tight and uneven. The real ones have very even gap lines. Also the silver hinge area on the back was a slightly rougher texture on the fakes. Finally looked at the charging port closer and it was a noticeably different usb c port; much more yellow in color, slightly crooked, the metal of the port didn't meet the plastic case as tightly as the real ones. The real ones' metal port has a very tiny slight bevel to ease the plug in. The fakes did not. If anyone wants the customer service story I can tell it later in a reply. Long story short: Ai chat bot was useless here, chat "agent" was useless. Over the phone customer service was resistant but after two separate bouts with 2 reps they assured I would get a replacement. Not just a refund as the sale price is gone now. And they gave I earned a $25 gift card on top for my frustration. They use third parties for these and were definitely trying to put all the blame on them and take none of the responsibility at first.
