Thanks for mentioning this. I was about to do the same. For those that do not know, LG monitors on PC are getting fed adware without giving you an option to opt out. They also have a history of selling your data on LG TVs, where they literally are taking a snapshot of what you are doing every few minutes, on each HDMI port! There is even a lawsuit from Texas AG against LG about this. I am done with LG. There is a reason the LG OLEDs go on sale for so low after a few months. LG is selling your data to data brokers. I have a C1 that I love, but I agree with the sentiment here and won't be purchasing any LG products from now on. A solution to the spying in the meantime is to not connect it to a network and then use a device like an Apple TV or PS5 for the "smart" functionality.

curious whats the advantage of running such high frame 1440p? Any rig capable of running 400+ frames in 1440 can damn sure run high frame 4k
