Kasa HS200 smart switches are a solid Wi Fi option for adding app control to lights, with a reputation for reliable long term use and a brand name that feels safer than off brand gear. They work fine in normal faceplates, and a handful or even dozens can run without trouble when the router or a separate smart home network can handle the load. The main caveat is that they depend on Wi Fi and need the right wiring, especially a neutral wire for some installs and more planning for three way setups. A practical pick for homes that already have compatible wiring and decent network coverage.
Homeowners adding a handful of smart wall switches, because the Wi‑Fi switches stay solid when the router can handle the device count.
People wiring a 2-gang fan-and-light box, because the switch can replace the fan side when a neutral wire is present and a standard wall plate fits.
Home theater rooms using dark wall hardware, because the black switch can match a darker room aesthetic better than standard white switches.
Homeowners with 3-way lighting circuits, because the 3-way version can replace the line-side switch while the existing load-side switch stays in place.
Households with weak Wi‑Fi or overloaded routers, because the switches depend on Wi‑Fi and device count can become the limiting factor.
Homes with older 3-way wiring and no neutral in the switch box, because installation can require rewiring a finished wall.
People expecting a quick single-pole swap from a 3-way setup, because converting the circuit is not a 10-minute job.

Installing a handful of switches is likely ok (<10), but as you add more switches, they will start to put more and more strain on your network.
If you are planning on doing a massive install for a full house setup, I would recommend a zigbee or zwave alternative. Personally, I am a big fan of Zooz as they are middle of the road in terms of features + price (~20-30 each).

I'd love to put this in a spot with a light switch and use this on the fan switch.
