This is great price for this, Walmart has this for $30 and no other 5qt bottle of any brand at Walmart is under $30 except for Supertech. I use 0W40 Ultra Platinum and that jumped from $46 to $66 on Amazon for the 6qt box in just a couple of months, better get your oil now before it really gets ridiculous.

Good deal considering you don't have to deal with any rebates.

Dude this SLICKDEALS. Price history matters. No one would use this site if we cared about what is what now. Everyone's trying to get the best deal, this doesn't mean it has to be right now like we looking for emergency supplies. These ignorant time machine comments need to go away.

Look if $14 were a common deal price for a 5 quart jug of FULL SYNTH OIL, major brand, I'd agree and wouldn't have posted this. But that $14 was a one off deal, I post enough synth oil deals on SD to know the pricing history. It's great when you can score it, but the chances of it returning anytime soon are slim to none IMO. If you've read the comments on many of the syth oil threads, most in the know expect prices to really ramp up soon as the oil price crunch catches up with motor oil. So if you do need to change your oil in the next month, grabbing a $20 jug probably isn't a bad idea. If you got in at $14 I'd expect people ordered a years supply if they were able to.

The Mobil1 with the rebate were about $24-26 on sale pre rebate at Walmart for about 2 months, with the $10 rebate, making them about $15 WITH a rebate. But all those oils are back up in the $30 range now so even w/ a $10 rebate it's $20 like this one.
