Worthwhile comment. Even Banana Republic Factory has been a series of bad experiences. Admittedly, none in the last 18 months. Thin material, fading, pilling, poor seams, etc.

This is very true. I have never paid full price and always above 50% discount. eGifter is frequently running a $50 gift card for $38 and valid for up to 5xGCs and can be used at any GAP/Old Navy/Banana Republic/Athleta. Plus combined with Super Cash you are now venturing into the 75% - 90% discount zone. Best thing about it is if the price drops even further withing 14 days of your purchase you can just chat with a customer service agent and you get that partial refund/credit in a matter of a couple minutes.

Have had clothes from all their sister brands for years, wear them often and most still have not faded, pilled or come apart. In fact most still look like new. Each piece of clothes has specific instructions on how to properly wash it and most people just ignore the instructions to which they later blame the quality when it is usually user error. Also many people buy the wrong type of clothes for the wrong type of activity i.e. you don't buy dress shoes to go work in construction or go skateboarding. 😁
