If you can afford it, maybe is better to get the WOOT deal for NEW 1TB at $1,050, which is $150 more then the renew 1 tb in this link.

Go with refurbished and choose "excellent". It's much cheaper around $683ish and includes the additional 1 year warranty for peace of mind (honestly get akko). These are for sure to be unlocked and don't have to deal with the frustration if it ends up being locked.
