Does this pan actually work well? My Tramontina Ceramic Frying Pan has become useless in about 12 months as even with cooking oil eggs and meat are sticking to it very badly. Despite using only plastic spatulas and non abrasive sponges to clean it, the surface has scratches. It clearly wasn't made well.

Yes works well. Had mine for 3+ years of twice a week use. So far so good.

I bought a set of Tramontina frying pans at Costco and they lasted maybe a year. I'm not sure if Costco carries lower quality ones, but I will never get this brand again.

I've had the 10" for 6ish months now and it's been consistent. 12" at this price is great. In for one 👍

I've had the 10" version since 2021 and still use it often. I've used it on both gas and electric range and has worked well on both. Coating is still going strong as well. Have always hand washed it, and never put it in the dishwasher, perhaps that's where others have had issues?

Is the long handle annoying as some reviews suggests?

I've used these ProLine pans for over 10 years and they've been great. I've held their plain branded pans at Costco and they seemed lower quality to me. If you can get to a Costco Business Center they carry a bunch of Tramontina ProLine stuff at very affordable prices, and even more so when they're on sale.

They're not super light pans, but the thicker aluminum spreads the heat pretty evenly. I use the 8" for eggs, the 12" for most cooking, and sometimes the 10" for smaller dishes or portions. The 14" is a bit unwieldy.

This should be the normal price. I've had mines for 5 months now and it's starting to discolor on the bottom. The nonstick is good but there's a few spots here and there that is occasionally not. Would I buy again? No. T-fal is better.

I got the smaller 8in version of this exact pan (good size for eggs), and the nonstick surface scratched within a couple uses using a nylon spatula that never scratched any of my other pans. That said, the overall non-stick nature has held up well enough over many uses--it's just alarming to see the many scratches so far.

It also has a loud ticking sound as it heats up, which I found out is due to voids in the metal.

I am going back to GreenPan after this Tramontina wears out.

I do really like my Tramontina clone of the All-Clad pans (stainless-clad copper). Works great, looks great, has none of the issues that this non-stick has. I'd buy another one of those in a heartbeat.
