Keep looking, 300 watts / 600 surge won't due for a toaster or microwave. A two slice toaster typically needs 850 watts continuous and a microwave that or more. You probably need to spend 2 to 3 x more for a solar generator and panel to handle those requirements. Maybe just a 2200 watt gas generator for $450 would do you better. It can handle a full size refrigerator as well. Or best of both worlds a gas generator to recharge a decent sized solar generator. Any panels would be a bonus but not a necessity if you are looking at just a day or two of downtime.
Might be worth it for me to invest the more expensive ones, since this one outage cost about $200 in groceries alone.
We have a 1000wh one to power the fridge for short stints when our power goes out and a smaller 250wh battery just to power phones and laptops.
Also great for camping.
