Longer answer is neutral is what supplies 120V to appliances in this setup, so if you have any appliance that is consuming 120V (even if through the 4-prone 240V plug), there are multiple scenarios, but in one of them you get more than 120V on one leg and you fry the appliance and can start a fire.
Granted, if you plan to never parallel this generator, you are good. But this is paying extra for something you can never use, and you may never know when the future brings.
I got GenAI to confess with this statement: "one unmodified, commercially sold 50-amp RV connected to the unmodified two-generator kit is enough to create a plausible appliance-damage and fire scenario."
