Your response is not very helpful. There is a wide range of weight for different clothing materials. A range of weight in pounds/kg would be more helpful if such testing was done.

We stack jeans, sweaters and shirts in ours and it holds it fine. If you're planning to put anything else in it....weights, books, etc....I would pass. And the mfg doesn't give a weight limit.
