The Chase offer is not valid on gift cards, so unless you're making a $50+ transaction, the Target deal might be better.

I purchased a $50 instacart gift card and received the $5 credit. Maybe the same works for play store card as well.

Unless you have Target Red card for another 5%. I have no problem spending my Target gift cards and for an extra 5% it's a no brainer. I use these to pay for my YT premium annual membership. It's like getting $20 off my annual membership. The only thing I hate with using Google Play cards for subscriptions is that you have to have equal or above the subscription amount for it to go through. For example, the YT premium is $139 annually but if you have $138 in Google Play balance it will NOT go through. Always make sure you have at least the subscription amount in there or it will just charge your back up payment.

Anyone know if you purchase 2 Google cards in separate transactions if you will get the $5 Target GC on each one?

Why go through the hassle of buying a gift card when you can just buy the credit directly in the Google Play Store? You can get the 10 percent cashback offer from Chase. It is that simple.

Oh I see. I wasn't aware there was an option to buy Google Play credit directly. I guess that's not considered a "gift card?"

Just thought I'd throw out there if you have dashpass, you can just buy a google play egift card there for 10% off. No need for cashback.
