Agreed! What's the point in having things on paper in your possession, anyway? I'm sure whatever is rewritten will be for a good cause.

The majority of public domain books are so widely available and distributed at this point there would need to be a catastrophic event wiping most digital storage to lose access to the original text.

I get that some people just like paper better, and that's fine, but to claim the cheapest possible printings from Amazon, of all companies, are for archival purposes is laughable at best.
