Actually, Captain America's shield (at least once upon a time in comics) was composed of a Vibranium-Adamantium alloy. It's supposed to be one if the strongest physical objects in the universe.

OK, I am confused, is the shield in this deal made of Adamantium, Vibranium, or an alloy of both? As a plate for $83 it has better be one of the strongest objects in the universe.

Captain America cosplayer here. This is a cool shield/toy. This is made of durable plastic. The metal one is discontinued, hard to find for less than $500. Being plastic doesn't distract much from the illusion, and this one is actually lighter and easier for conventions or for a long Halloween night if you're going to be walking around a bunch.
