Just note this is a collection of all the short stories, it is not an omnibus of all the books. These short stories are worth the read so this isn't a bad deal unless you were expecting a complete collection of all the books plus short stories in one giant eBook.

If you liked "The Expanse" then definitely get this. If you haven't seen or read The Expanse, go watch/read it now! Amazon Prime did an excellent job with the series.

I LOVED the book series (and most of the TV series)! Excellent read!

With that said, the main series' ending was MEH! What a let down! Still totally worth the price, of course.

All the short stories are good. I think Butcher of Anderson Station is probably the most important of them. The Expanse is awesome.

These are like little side quest stories of the main mission. I've been listening to everything in order and the first & third I think are interesting, there's probably another one too, but I'm only to book 6 of the series. I've taken breaks to listen to other stuff, so having knowledge of the TV show helps recall what's going on. But I'm getting to the point where there's new stuff that wasn't really covered much in the show.

This is worth it for the first novella about the way the engine of the ships came about.

Thank you so much finding/posting this. I did not know that it existed. I feel "nickle and dimed" on a lot of these book series to buy all the short stories, and the library isn't so good at getting them.

Our library actually only had the first book, and I've purchased all the other paper books from Amazon. I feel that they were also reasonably priced! With the short stories its hard to tell if they are worth it, so I really appreciate this!

A few notes before reading (some have already been covered):
These really are designed to read in sequence with the 9 series novels. Many are good stories on their own, but really are designed to be read along with the novels.

If you've seen the TV series, you've already seen some bits and pieces of some of these short stories. Though the last 3 short stories are aligned with the novels that are NOT part of the TV series.

Read in publication order with the main novels. This post has useful info for that:
