*YMMV* IN-STORE ONLY. Found this on sale for 85% off. Would be a good deal for a plumber or handyman who deals with new installs or repairs for toilets.
Military and Home Depot Credit Card discount DID NOT WORK when buying this. I have both and neither added a discount to it.

buy this if you want to replace it yearly. Korky branded versions are known for failing frequently.Fluidmaster or everbilt are significantly better
The one I replaced was a Fluidmaster that lost its seal in under 3 years. I'm not a plumber or anything, but I didn't see very many mixed reviews about the brand online as most seemed to like it. Could be big box store reviews that were bought, but I checked several places of them. I bought it just for the flapper since it was cheaper to buy the whole kit. Figured at this price point even if it lasted 1-3 years that's worth $2.63

yeah just the flapper alone can run up to $8 depending on where you buy it. I am surprised that the fluidmaster lost its seal in less than 3 years. Make sure you are not using any chlorine tablets (bleach) in the tank. Preferably you should not be adding anything to the tank otherwise the seals get eaten up. Bowl, do whatever you prefer
