Pretty funny how they have the detached one sitting on a plastic table in one of the photos, that thing would melt in a heartbeat. Either the metal base would get hot and slowly bore through, or the flame itself would push so much heat downward it'd turn that table into a puddle. Don't use it on wood either, unless you've got a metal table, definitely use the stand it comes with.

On a serious note, though, the stove itself seems like a solid deal for the price. 150,000 BTUs is no joke for camping or tailgating. Just make sure you've got a proper surface.

That is not a plastic table top, look closely you will see it is a Quartz / Stone countertop.

this is a great deal. You're basically getting two Turkey fryers with a stand for the price of one.

This thing is massive overkill for cooking, though. It has the adjustable hi-pressure regulator, so regulating it down is tougher to do.

Those not familiar with using this style control will need some getting used to. The knobs on the front are more for looks/fine tuning.

This would be a great base to build into a proper griddle. With a little welding and thicker plate steel you could have something way better than those cheap blackstone's.

I think the version with the side panels in the best deal. You get shelves, which are really handy when in use, and you can covers when not in use. You also get the wind panels, which are also helpful in keeping the fire focused and where it needs to be. The wind panels essentially save you the difference in propane costs within a couple fill-ups!

Don't bother with one if it doesn't have a windguard. It'll lose its flame like an irritated candle everytime there's a small gust of wind... you'll have to keep relighting it and shielding it somehow until your miserable self is done with that round of cooking.

What on earth are you talking about? Do you see the two big round black things, one per burner? The burner is recessed inside those, there's your windguards. Have you ever even used one of these [incredibly generic: they're all the same, the ones made in CCP-stan were all copied from an American original decades ago] camp stoves?

Nope. The 2 round things don't completely block the wind from the sides as the flames go past it. Checkout the 2 other versions being sold next to this with one that includes dual side trays and the wind guard while the other only has the wind guards. Both go around the exterior and they are crucial.
