Mediocre combo for your first Ego tool, but if you've already got a battery for other tools, the list price for the 2.5 Ah battery in this kit is $200 all on its own. Turn around and sell it as brand new for $150 on FB Marketplace and you've added a pretty good, low maintenance chainsaw to your garage for $50 and a few hours getting the battery sold.

Just to test how location dependent this is - I am seeing this if I ship to random zips in Delaware or New Jersey for example but not to a random zip in Washington state for example. I wonder if this is because Amazon has overstock in east coast warehouses .. but it costs too much for them to ship a long heavy item like this across the country

For light (and limited) use, this is a great saw. I have easily cut 5" branches. The 2.5 amp battery is fine for limited cleanup. I have 4 and 5 amp batteries from other eGo products I own.

No way you can get $150 for a 2.5 ah battery. Highest I'm seeing in sold is $100 with new 5.0 selling at $160. That $100 sold is also assuming that the seller didn't just take an offer at $75 and said hell, why not, I'll mark it as sold (as most people probably do).
