I also am not sure that $50 upcharge ($90 vs $140) for what looks to be the same functional fringe, likely sourced from the same 3rd party manufacturer (being their overall product lines are so suspiciously similar in looks, spec, and capacity), makes a lot of sense just in case you happen to have a covered failure in the 13th to 36th month (EDIT: and after month 13, your compressor is the only thing covered) And that is assuming Setpowerusa will even stand by the warranty at that point since their US store front is so much newer than Vevor's. Even if they do exist, they are likely to tell you they do not have the parts or full fridge to replace the unit years from now. Likely offering you (at best) a prorated credit towards the purchase of a replacement from their website.
I personally ain't paying 155% more just for an extended warranty (EDIT: that only covers the compressor) that I likely won't need and might not even pay out, but you do you.
Edit: Your 3 year warranty is actually 1 year on everything BUT the compressor. "Note: 3-Year Warranty on Compressor, 1-Year Warranty on other Fridge parts)"

They also state in their warranty info "of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance." "Proves" seems like a very murky choice of words here. Do they mean proves like in "turns out" or objectively demonstrated via testing and by whom? Do you have to pay to ship the dead unit to them so they can tell you a circuit board is bad and then you have to eat the freight and maybe pay to have it shipped back to you? Or do you have to pay a 3rd party to prove this? Clear as mud.

I mainly use it so I don't have to rush home from the grocery store with frozen foods. Once after the electric had been out for a couple days I transferred food from my freezer to it and ran it off small 12v lithium batteries for a couple more days. Overall a useful thing to own, but depending on your use case I'd recommend getting a larger one. The ones this style all have the same footprint. The larger ones are just taller. They also all use the same compressor, so the larger capacity doesn't add much weight either.
