Hello, future people that might view this post.
It is generally advised to do a clean install of Windows 11 on these. If you do so, and are trying to setup/activate Windows over Wi-Fi, you will need to manually install the RTL8852BE Wi-Fi driver. While you can get it from the Firebat site, I prefer a source I find more reputable, as well as something more up-to-date (newer hardware, driver improvements frequent). You can find the latest version (that I could find) here [dell.com].
BIOS update is available on the Firebat site here [firebatpc.com]. Not many alternative options for that. You can flash it from a formatted UEFI bootable USB, with the files copied to it, or from within Windows.
OS license licensed on these is Windows 11 PROFESSIONAL!
Units are populated with FOUR LPDDR5 sticks, so the FULL dual-channel performance can be achieved! They seem quite snappy, even if Windows still takes eons to install (Windows problem).
Fedora KDE seems to run quite nicely on them! If you've long been a Windows person... give Linux a try.
