You do you, but do note the u shaped ones were the ones that has the mildew/mold problems. https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/2025...d-Exposure

For others note this deal is also not an inverter ac BUT it has a 2 yr warranty instead of the usual 1 year if either matters to you

They implemented a fix for the mildew issue. It needed a small plug replaced by a plug with a slightly larger hole for better drainage. You had to do it yourself, at least when I purchased it but it took all of 30 seconds. Solid unit

Inverter is quieter and more energy efficient. Going to wait for a deal on the U shaped model.
