The problem is that you're always rolling the dice with Amazon flash and SD cards.

Yeah, this is sold and shipped by Amazon so the trust factor is a little higher but they've been known to ship fakes on accident too.

I recommend to anybody to test their storage media immediately before it's too late to return it, to make sure it holds the promised amount and that speeds are good. Fakes will lie about amount of storage especially.

I was able to grab 1TB Samsung PRO Plus for $69.99. Grabbed 4x of those and thought I was being silly at the time and it wasn't even that long ago! July 8, 2025. These prices are insane.

Yep those are the prices i remember too during summer of 2025. And i think it wwnt up a little bit in the fall before it became a disaster. Kind of crazy to think that more than double the price is now considered a "deal" lol.
