I bought one of these yesterday actually 15$ instore clearance Homedepot. I mainly wanted it for outdoor use car show events. Tested it indoors and outdoors . Indoors it's ok. Outdoors a slight breeze really pushed the mist away from me. Disappointed. The accessories ( car charger and clamp) ridiculous priced and can't find a store in stock. A clamp 35$ is a must imo on the ground sitting in a camping chair the mist blew away in the breeze . I used zip ties on my chair but going to find a better solution. And not paying 35$ for a clamp! If I paid 80$ I'd be returning it!

Are you sure it's the same model? $15 sounds crazy, even for clearance.
The travel bag is a nice addition if you take the fan camping, to the beach, or to sporting events. Keeps everything together and makes it a lot easier to carry around.

I just want a 8 inch rechargable fan for my parents. They requested one, but there are so many shitty ones out there. I know I can buy the ryobi 18v 7.5 one for $80, but that's pricey for something so simple.

On this fan part of what you're paying for is the misting feature. If you don't need it than there are cheaper options out there. Some stores Homedepot clearance ymmv have the ridgid jobsite fan 8$ I believe it's hybrid meaning Ac/DC . There's a ridgid impact driver kit ymmv 15$ and hammer drill kit 45$ .
