You're on the right track, but it's 7168Wh not kWh and it would be the same Wh whether wired in series or parallel. In series, voltage is doubled to 25.6V but the Wh is remains same regardless of voltage. These batteries are 560Ah total @ 12V or 280Ah wired @ 24V.

These were cheaper a while back but that was plastic version. I use 8 of these to run the house overnight, works good. Might add another 4 to have more reserve for cloudy days.

In the United States we use "." as a decimal separator, so 7.168 kWh is the same as 7,168 Wh.

That's strange because thats literally the first time I've ever seen anyone write 7.168kWh meaning 7,168Wh and I live in the States. I understand It's technically correct (It might be written like that in other parts of the world. I really don't know, but i have my doubts) but that not how we write it. I challenge you to find any advertisement writing it like that. We use commas, not decimal points as separators here in the States. Decimal points are used to indicate a fractional portion. For example 7.168 inches would be just a bit over 7 inches not 7 thousand and 168 inches.

And your point? 13.5kWh is just 1kWh more than 12.5kWh. Did you read what I said about how we use commas not decimal points as separators? Decimal points indicate a fraction.

Right but thats not what he was saying. He was saying they use decimal points the same way we use commas. We use decimal points to indicate a fractional portion here in the US. For example 7.168 inches would be just a bit over 7 inches not 7 thousand and 168 inches. 7 thousand and 168 inches is written with a comma as 7,168 not with a decimal point like 7.168.
