There are a ton of these posts over the past year, but to sum it up:
DJI Power 1000 V1 - $350
DJI Power 1000 V2 - $400

The V2s absolute most basic PROs over the V1, you can use it as a proper UPS for electronic power backup, and you don't need the separate module if you plan to charge it over solar.

All you need to ask yourself is this: Do I want to use this as a power UPS for my computer? Get the V2.
Do I want to charge this over solar at any time in the future? Get the V2.

If the answer is no, then you need to ask is saving $50 worth dropping 4 AC outlets back to only 2. The max Watts reduced by a couple of hundred. 10-15% Slower recharge time from AC.

For me, the V1 is worth the cheaper drawbacks because I just needed a battery that could handle 1500 watts for half an hour. That I would recharge in a standard wall outlet whenever I was home. But for folks looking for a battery, they can go off-grid or use various functions like UPS; get the V2.

Get the V2 if $50 is worth peace of mind concerning being a little more future-proof if you arent sure how you'll use it.

The V1 requires the external Bluetooth dongle, so worth the $50 for V2. The V1 dongle chews up an SDC port, which can cripple a solar or auto (RV) solution needing both SDC ports. While the dongle can be removed after configs are set, no monitoring can be done on the V1 without the dongle (with the exception of the front panel displays).

It's funny reading the reviews that it smells like hot, burning, melting plastic when in use. People don't like using it in a closed room.

Can this be used as UPS for sump pump, or there are better options?

How big is your sump pump? A lot of them use 1000 plus watts. If yours uses 1000, it'd last around 50 minutes. This power station is 1 kWh which is only about 850 useable Wh's. Keep in mind some pumps use less but many use more than 1000 watts, so adjust accordingly.
