Edited per the correction from Suihuamo. FYI for those that do much international travel: you can use the USB outlets when in other countries that use 220V-240V. But you should not use the AC outlet unless you have a step down converter or a device that can handle 220V-240V

Fair point, you're right that the USB side accepts 100–240V input. My point still stands regarding the AC side. Per the manual: the main electrical rating is strictly 125V AC, and 60 Hz meaning you can't safely use the AC outlets abroad without a step-down converter. To clarify for anybody reading this and confused. You should be able to safely use the USB ports directly if traveling internationally, but not the AC outlet unless you have a step down converter or a device that accepts 220-240V

This is a great charger tor travel. Given its size it seems too large, but it has several benefits:
  1. Because the brick does not plug directly into the socket, it can fit into sockets that have obstructions near by
  2. It doesnt fall out of worn outlets that are common at hotels and airports
  3. In conference rooms it provides a powerstrip function. Just be careful how you plug things into the ac sockets.
  4. It is powerful!
  5. Its flat, so it fits pretty well in most bags

It also doesn't have a gigantic wall wart like the newer 240W version does. Just a normal NEMA 5-15 offset right angle plug with all the AC to DC conversion in the unit itself.

I was thinking about the newer version with 240W total, but that gigantic wall wart is a huge turnoff. (this one: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Char...B0CYT4LC2M )

I skipped that one too. I have the original 100W. It cannot handle a laptop and Legion Go at the same time. The 140W was just right for me.
