The 5 3/8" saw has its use cases and I like grabbing it for small tasks, but I would be disappointed using it as my only saw. The Daily Deal also has a 6 1/2 M18 Fuel saw with (1) 5AH battery for $199. That would be a better all around saw, although only (1) battery and no charger.

They also have the 6 1/2 M18 Saw Only for $229 with a free impact drill, so if you can pull off the hack and return the drill, the saw would be $130.

so easy to handle.
for bigger cuts, or angled, I grab my 20-30+yr old craftsman circular corded saw (was my dad's)
Good batteries, too.
This is a good little saw. Much better than the first gen because they moved the handle much closer to its center of gravity so it's a lot easier to hold & manipulate. More compact, too - less motor overhang which means you can make cuts in tight areas you wouldn't have been able to with the first gen.
