Grade B is supposed to be pretty bad. These are likely 3-4 years used laptops, which are now off-lease. In some case people also get machines where parts have been replaced internally.

This is a great get.
Condition rating is only for appearance, not functionality.
Battery life should be solid, but I've had success getting money back on a warranty claim for poor condition batteries.
I only just last month picked up one of these for $600. (Only because it was the P processor instead of the U)
