If set your store location to the Chicago area, the DCF891B is currently priced at $125.00. I believe there may be other regions that also have this tool marked down to this price.

If your city has this tool marked down to $125, please leave a comment below so your fellow local Slickdealers can get in on the deal.

This is a YMMV deal.

Additionally, it's theoretically possible that you can do the hack with the 1.7 AH Powerstack Starter Kit. If anyone is able to do that, just leave a comment below.

This might also be an in store pick up price only, as when I tried to get one shipped, the price reverted to $199.00.

Basically the "hack" is buying a BOGO deal and returning an item, this (at Home Depot and some select other stores) will let you keep one item at the pro-rated price.
So for this deal you get a $199 impact wrench that comes with a "free" $138 battery kit, when you purchase them It comes out to be approx $118 for the wrench and $81 for the battery kit. Basically you return that battery kit and keep the tool for $118.
There are some different ways to do it and you can see the prices you'd pay by adding the items to your cart. This method isn't being recommended much anymore because many of those that have done it too often (unknown, determined by Home Depot) have gotten their account locked and unable to sign in. So if you're going to do this, try not to do it too often. If I "hack" a deal anymore I use a CC that's NOT on my online account and do everything in person.

I am doing this, better deal than OP even though I was able to change the store to a Chicago store and select Shipping to get the $125. But I've used the HD "hack" to get a ton of tools for cheap.

Did Dewalt release a new 1/2" high torque impact gun recently? Is this an older model?

Unfortunately, when I select shipping, the price was changed back to my local homeDepot price.

This model was released in 2022 I think, but as far as I'm aware it is still their current mid-torque. There are newer 1/2" impacts but they are larger.

Not really, no, as this is a newer gun. But ALL the websites are having a ~$125 sale on this exact gun for some reason. But its a great mid torque impact for this price, I grabbed a $125 off amazon's 1 hour long random sales on it. The "newer" gun recommended is a 900 series HIGH torque and WAY more expensive, so not a newer gun in the same class. This is a GREAT deal on a high power impact gun (if you aren't a caterpillar heavy mech)

Showing a buy one get one. Add 2 get double cost. Added different product with same bogo tag and it doesn't remove cost on either. Anyone else know what this bogo is
