Oh nice, so they finally have USB-C mobile controllers. I looked at the thumbnail of this deal, thinking it was only for the lightning iteration which I purchased for $19 from VIPOutlet's storefront on Walmart and I was eventually just going to pass it off as such. Glad I actually clicked on this deal. In for 1x USB-C option.

Nice ! For this price, I'll bite ! Always kind of wanted to test of these on the go to see if I can squeeze in some game time on my commute when I want to travel light.

The listing says it's BB-51-P-BRW so it should be gen1

The gen 1 device (which this is) does not allow for a case unless it's thin. The gen 2 devices come with a different attachment that allows for cases.

My gen 2 controller started acting up, left joystick moving by itself and one button not working. It was out of warranty so they told me if I am on their Backbone+ subscription you get extended warranty so I subscribed and they replaced the controller with a brand new one. Pretty good customer service IMO

I would highly implore to anyone interested in the USB-C option for the Backbone controller to purchase one quickly b/c there was 151 available when I first caught wind of this deal and now there are only 55 available.

As per https://help.backbone.com/hc/en-u...ckbone-One, I think BB-51-P-BRW should be gen2. There's no exact match but BB-51-P-BRAZ and BB-51-P-BR are gen2. The image is stock but that also shows gen2
