Lightweight come with a flimsy string...M weight have a thicker drawstring that resembles a high quality shoe lace and heavyweight come with a flat thick rope-like string.

That's true, but does Hanes feature those?
To my understanding a lot of these commonplace brands have just shrinkflation-ed all the old norms away.
I havent seen a sensible Hanes/FruitoftheLoom/Gildan/etc heavyweight hoodie in years
