I feel like they should be able to tell us how much credit a controller should get, no? I've got some slight stick drift on a couple of Xbox controllers and might consider trading up if there was enough credit. Somehow I'm thinking Gamestop isn't going to give much, though.

"Product condition and trade value are determined at GameStop's discretion — get it evaluated in-store before assuming a specific value. " Nuff said, they are trying to get more foot traffics with bait and switch.. GME plunged 12% today..

Flashbacks of funcoland where I bought a PlayStation that only worked vertical with a fan blowing on it.

It's linked in the thread. It's "up to" but that's the best we can find online at least.

You're totally supposed to put all of that info in the thread. Are you expecting me to look it up? Haha - I kid. But thank you. Those values are abysmal. And it's "up to". No thanks. I keep the stick drift, lol.

There's like a million models of controllers and each color has it's own price :/ If i put "PS5 Controller up to $17" then someone would comment "I just got back from GameStop and was only offered $14 for my black ps5 controller and you should be fired! (this has happened before... lol).

Yeah.... this only makes sense for broken controllers. My guess is you'd get much more on FB Marketplace/OfferUp/eBay.

I've got 5 xbox controllers all with drift, 2 micro-usb versions too old for calibration with 1 having broken bumper, and 2 usb-c with calibration that still drift; definitely trading them in with this event otherwise I was going to try and update the usb-c controllers to hall effect. Either $13-17 trade in credit for each. Hopefully there is a wireless hall effect controller on sale by Black Friday otherwise these things were e-waste or a day project to upgrade
