This is what chat says. I got 2 pairs of women's 11 for size men's 9.5. I did some digging since the women's colorways are so much cheaper. Multiple people who own both men's and women's EVO SLs say they fit almost identically. Adidas doesn't list different widths for this model, and the women's version appears to be only slightly lower volume (if at all). The biggest difference is sizing:Men's → Women's conversion: add 1.5 sizes (Men's 9.5 = Women's 11).If you have average or narrow feet, I'd feel comfortable ordering the women's equivalent size, especially with free returns. Wide-foot runners may still prefer the men's version. At ~$49, it's hard to beat.

The Adizero EVO SL is a lightweight, bouncy trainer that works well for uptempo runs, workouts, and even racing, with several reports that it holds up well in regular rotation. The women's version appears to fit very close to the men's version for many pairs, and Adidas sizing guidance points to women's sizing running one size up from men's. The main caution is a narrower toe box and width, especially for wider feet or longer races, so sizing up may help. A strong value at this price.

  • The women's and men's EVO SL versions appear to fit almost identically in length and width.

  • The toe box fit can be managed with sizing guidance and free returns reduce purchase risk.

  • The shoes can work well for uptempo workouts and even a first race after years off.

    burntorangehorn

  • The shoes feel bouncy and responsive for faster running efforts.

    FaithfulDime812

  • The toe box can run tighter, so sizing up may be necessary for comfort.

    macrocnFaithfulDime812

  • Men may run into narrow width issues as the main fit problem.

    98199

  • Men's to women's sizing conversion may not match perfectly, which can lead to a smaller fit.

    claddaghmom

  • The shoes may not feel great for walking despite being designed for faster running.

I've done women's shoes in larger sizes for running shoes before. It's worked well.

I have the women's version due to a previous slickdeal, and I can't tell the difference. They're in my regular rotation for uptempo workouts, and I ran my first race in almost 17 years yesterday in them (5:58 mile at an overweight 47). They feel great and are holding up really well.

These were considered serious contenders for the best value in training shoes at retail ($150), so 1/3 of that is smoking.

I'm a mens 10 in running shoes and I've been running the past 6 months in women's size 11 Evo SL without issues.

I got this on the last SD and got 11W for my 10M. They are exactly the same as my mens version in all aspects, length width, toebox. I ended up stocking a bunch.

another commenter though mentioned his 12s were narrower, so I guess YMMV? At least 11W were identical for me.

A bit narrower at toe box so go half size up.

anyways this shoe is awesome (and not too awesome that it can still be used as a daily trainer). When it was $53 i stocked up with 8 pairs to last me a couple years since my last slickdeal daily trainer stock is running low (adizero SL's that were $30 like 2-3yrs ago). This is one of the better if not best deals in the past couple years since the adizero SLs for a strong daily trainer, even if had to do a womens size hack.

Adidas's website says women's sizing is +1 over men's sizing on this shoe. A women's 11 is a men's 10.

This is a great deal. I almost ordered them, but as a heavier distance runner, I don't think they'd be a great choice for me over the course of a longer race. However, they look so cool!

Good catch. I've seen people saying the toe box is tighter so do 1.5. Free returns so no harm no foul if it's off.

Great price but for men using these the narrow width will be the problem...

I buy both 9 in mens and 10 in womens. Both fit the same for EVO SL and Adios Pro 3/4.
