I got an open box excellent from Best Buy for $50 when this was $60 like last week or two weeks ago. Still had the wrapping paper inside and looked brand new. My Air has been dying a bit faster cuz I was using it all the time with the new iOS 27 beta, so this was convenient to have it charged while I'm moving around and not have to be tethered to a charger. The battery doesn't hold much, up to 65% extra battery charge according to Apple, but it's more than enough for a typical day, unless you're gaming heavily or using the camera all the time. You also don't need to have it on all day. I put it on around 5pm then I can take it off around 6, depending on the day. it also has a high quality texture to it, the side that touches the phone is soft and a bit rubberized while the outside is smooth. Fits the phone great too. I have the white Air so it matches it perfectly as well.
Is it compatible with iPhone 17 Pro or 17 Pro Max?
Sort of, you have to turn the battery pack sideways.. meaning it hangs off the side of other models that aren't the Air. And even then sometimes it doesn't connect directly to MagSafe to charge perfectly. In a pinch, sure it will work, but there are better and cheaper options out there for those devices.
Why do you add more weight to iPhone air? Air model supposed to be light and thin. If need more battery power, go with regular iPhone.
It is about having light phone for everyday and extra battery when you need it. Why do I want to hold and carry around a heavy phone everyday when I need extra battery maybe once every two weeks. I don't have to leave it on the phone all day. Plus it is great for a single overnight, no messing with a charger, just put this on the back overnight and it becomes a two day phone. This is how I used my iPhone Mini for years and now the Air. The problem with these is that all the experts "recommend" the 3rd party ones that overheat the phones and generally suck at the intended purpose -- extra life not a fast recharge.
