I saw 174.99 about 10 minutes ago, currently I see 171.75. Looks like it's being in flux.

I want one, but damn if $180 isn't too rich for me. i wonder if you can just buy the bits separately at the lego store and just print out the instructions for cheaper.

Instructions can be found on lego.com for basically every set. As far as getting pieces à la carte cheaper than the set? YMMV on that project, but I don't see it being likely. I tried to piecemeal a moc stand for my UCS Millennium Falcon. There was not enough available in the bins at my local Bricks & Minifigs and LEGO pick-a-brick was missing multiple elements that I needed. It was getting to be a pretty expensive cart anyway
