God changed my life through this show.. In 2020, I was ready to end my life and my wife turned this on for me while I sat in a catatonic breakdown on our couch. I saw a Jesus I had grown up hearing about, but had never experienced. Yes, it's a show and it's corny and campy and cringy at times, but I love the emotion in it. Is it totally accurate? Nope. It's also not supposed to replace anything but serve as a signpost to point people to the Bible and to give them hope.

And I am living proof that lives can be changed by a show.

This digital HDX bundle covers The Chosen seasons 1 through 5 at a very low price, with past sale history around $20 and claims that this is the lowest price yet for those seasons. It is the TV series based on the Gospels, and the story is praised for its emotional impact and strong scenes like Jesus meeting Nicodemus on the rooftop. The main catch is that season 6 is still coming and season 7 is planned, so this is not the complete series yet. It is also available free with commercials on BYU TV, while Fandango is noted as easier to watch across devices.

  • The bundle includes seasons 1 through 5, and later seasons 6 and 7 are planned to arrive over time.

    NavySardine761beauxeault

  • The listing is a digital download rather than DVDs, which helps confirm what you will receive.

    BetaRoc

  • Fandango playback can be easier across devices because it works through a normal web browser and a Roku app.

    NavySardine761

  • The show can be watched while waiting for seasons 6 and 7, since seasons 1-5 provide a full set of content.

    BryanS5944

  • The show is reportedly available commercial-free on the BYU TV app and website, which may reduce the value of buying elsewhere for some viewers.

    AmusedPanther530mychaelp

  • Season 6 starts in November, so this purchase does not include the complete series right away.

    NavySardine761

  • The show is not fully accurate, and it can feel corny, campy, or cringy at times.

    TheDragonAdvances27

  • Later seasons may require additional purchases, even though the current bundle price is low.

Absolutely all time lowest price for seasons 1-5. (though this won't be the complete series as season 6 starts in November)

Truly great show.

Yes. Season 6 is on the way, and a 7th (and final) season is planned. Agreed it's a great series.

Yeah, I didn't mention 7 as I haven't seen what this scope is really going to be. All I've seen officially is the first will likely be long enough to be theatrical release and it will premiere in movie theaters, the. Unknown number of episodes on streaming.

I've got everything on Blu-ray (with some of them being the special edition with higher nitrates). But also have 1-4 streaming. Will likely wait until all seasons are out to complete the streaming. And frankly hoping for a full 4K set on physical eventually.

Good price, but I'll wait until all the seasons are out and there's a complete collection. I hate having partial collections.

I didn't know anything about the series. I didn't know there are 2 more seasons. But even if they charge me $5 each for the next two, $18 for 7 seasons is still a very good deal.
