I remember watching this when it first aired. Was really great show but one of the episodes seemed to jump to a totally different part of the story. Didn't like that part of the show so much. That's why I haven't watched it since. Narrative was all disjointed

Fox broadcast the season completely out of order. This just added to the disappointment of the cancellation after people found out.

The cast is making and shopping an animated show set between the events of the original series and the movie. While it's not the next season we wanted, it's better than nothing.
You are so very wrong. It has been documented many times that Fox broadcast the episodes out of order. They felt the 2 part pilot was too dark to start the series and delayed it until later in the run, which confused people and contributed to the ratings. If you watch it in the proper order, it makes a lot more sense. And it's a great show.
