Don't mistake the hardwired version for this one (which is only battery powered)

Ring devices require cloud subscription, that's why you want to see ring cameras on sale because the company doesn't make their profit from the cameras they make it from the cloud subscription

I followed the link in OP. At the checkout page it said sign in to get 10% off if you're Ring Plus (or maybe pro) subscriber. I signed in and the discount automatically showed in the checkout page. I pay $10 monthly, so, that's my Ring subscription tier.
This code worked for me without being on any subscription.

Screaming deal! I had just bought this same detector at Home Depot for $65 just two days ago. Gonna return them and use this deal instead. Just fyi for any home automation folks this does work with home assistant and doing some googling to get it connected in. Once you do you can have it work in Apple home.

As a general rule, a smoke alarm and a CO alarm should be separate devices deployed in different places for optimal performance. Smoke starts collecting at the ceiling so a smoke detector should be mounted high on the wall or on the ceiling. Carbon Monoxide starts collecting on the floor so you want the CO detector placed low on the wall (or in an outlet along the baseboard. Sure you can cram both into a single device, but you are crippling one or the other by doing so.

Couldn't get 10% subscriber discount to work, however got Microsoft shopping 2% cash back.

In for 9 as I needed interconnected wireless detectors in 2 different houses.

Check your local rules and regulations. For me in California, alarms must have sealed 10 year lithium batteries. Depending on the age of the home, newer home require alarms to be hardwired.

Ordered several for my rental properties. Can never be too safe. THe description states these are both hardwired and battery operated. Hopefully that will be an option. Somewhat mixed reviews.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank YellowFrish

I ordered one and they got it to me next day.
BUT it's not a carbon monoxide detector. The manual it comes with is a manual for a smoke version and smoke + CO version. But the actual device is just the smoke version and explicitly says it's not a CO detector.

Update: apparently they do have the correct model to send out and mine was just a mistake.
