Recommend bidets. I think I have this one or the BB-2000, something like that. Unfortunately mine doesn't work anymore. It makes the noise but no water comes out. Not sure what the deal is or how to fix.
If you unplug and plug back in after 5 seconds, does the water work again, or still only noise?

Don't these need to be plugged into an outlet? Most bathrooms don't have an outlet right near the toilet. Do you have to have an electrician add one?
Not that hard to add a GFCI outlet in most homes. Usually either off the lighting circuit, or if it shares a wall with another room, you can steal from that circuit. Just don't use the circuit connected to the outlets dedicated to the counter-top to remain code compliant. If it is a half bath, just easier to get an extension cord or power strip that has a downward 90° and use the outlet by the sink.

Most likely a hardwater issue. I had to clean the nozzle of limescale. If i remember correctly you can even remove the nozzles. Mine was getting stuck inside.
Thanks. I will look into this. I tried the plug / unplug and that didn't work. The squirter thing still comes out, but it either sprays nothing at all or only sprays a tiny bit at the end.

I thought I had an elongated toilet, I bought an elongated toilet seat a few months ago but haven't installed it. Just went and, yeah, I think I have a standard bowl, and a useless new toilet seat Frown

Tp is just smearing. You wouldn't wipe your hands off with a tissue. You'd wash them. Never go back.

These are nice - but the hidden cost is installing a damn outlet at your toilet

So, yes, for the average SlickDealer, $200 for the bidet and $400 for an electrician and inspection.

Reviews are not good.

Customers report mixed experiences with the bidet's functionality, with some saying it works well while others say it doesn't work right. The water temperature receives mixed feedback - while the seat warmer is appreciated, the water isn't warm on demand. Installation is generally easy, though one customer notes missing pieces. The remote control is less capable than expected, and customers find the water pressure awful. Additionally, stability issues include screws that won't tighten proper
