Going higher than 12V, and by extension all of the 5 amp power options, requires a 24V battery that would be more common in boats but almost nonexistent in cars.

That's 150W. So it is less than 175W, but only slightly on 12V cars.
Also, most cars output a bit above 12V when running, and I presume you will get the full 175W in a normal operating 12V car.
There are some misleading car chargers that do that, but you need to read the label. Saying all of them do it casts misinfo, like here.
In for one for my rental car bag though.
That's 150W. So it is less than 175W, but only slightly on 12V cars.
Also, most cars output a bit above 12V when running, and I presume you will get the full 175W in a normal operating 12V car.

Their claimed "175" is by adding all three theoretical numbers (100+45+30), which is the common practice in chargers like these even though it's physically impossible because the device doesn't work that way.
