Do they restock the 256 variants? I see all the 256GB models are out of stock, and the only one they have is finished violet, which is not a color of my choice. Nor do I want to pay $200 more for half more storage.

I was thinking the same but the discount could come from Samsung.. maybe they are counting on the price hike after 1 year of usage and people could port out their line after 3 months, so not sure..

Does anyone buy this deal just to get the phone? I don't really need the service and I wanna keep my tmobile plan.
I was thinking, just buy the phone bundle now with the unlimited year of service. wait 60 days to unlock and then popin my actual tmobile sim card in this phone, and put the mint mobile sim in the old phone and use it as a hotspot or something. cancel the number after the year.

This should work. Just make sure to activate the phone with the Mint SIM as soon as you get it so the 60-day countdown starts. It should automatically unlock and you should receive a notification when it does.
