I used to buy so many tools from DT. But recently with their jack up price and "sale" I haven't got anything for over a year. Most are just better at home depot. I guess best deals are the 40v batteries.

Not sure if it's one per account, but I signed up for texts and got a free shipping code. Agreed with other posters that they used to have great deals that have descended to "just okay" territory. That being said, all tools purchased have been issue free.

whats funny is that there was a solid year or so that if you suggested that you would get thumbed down into oblivion. my guess is that they no longer pay slickdeals enough money to get dissenting opinions hushed.

I agree with others that the deals aren't as good as they used to be. However, I've found it to be the case that they do still have deals from time to time. This time around, the $30 cut-out tool and the $35 jigsaw seem pretty good. The cut-out tool, at least, is cheaper than previous deals I found on SD (which were all a few bucks more, around $32 or $33). I didn't check the jigsaw, but I'm pretty sure that's a good price too.

Also, some of the countersunk bits are pretty cheap ($0.99).

Since they're usually charging for shipping, though, I think it's much nicer to have a store near you versus shipping.
