What about this is a deal? Just because best buy marks it down from its already inflated price doesn't mean anything

Best Buy has had these on the shelf for 2 whole years, they try to run Windows 11 on 8GB of RAM, and my phone has more available space built in. These should be $75 just to make space in stores and should have never been priced over $250 in the first place.

Middle school issued Chromebook level config running Windows...

This isn't a great deal on the surface, but I have noticed that prices on laptops have raised about 10% from their regular price since the start of the month. If you're on a ultra tight budget this is a ok buy with 8GB of RAM. It does have a TN panel though. After Apple raised their prices, I think other companies are feeling a bit more comfortable with doing the same.

If you have a bit more budget flexibility, you get a device with a significantly faster CPU in 350-400 dollar range. Though I have a feeling when those devices re-stock, they're going to be in the 400-450 price range.

There is nothing okay about an Intel N processor.

You ever use an N100 or newer? They're good enough for most casual tasks most people do on their computers. Not everybody is a power user.

N150 is a horribly weak and slow processor for doing anything except home network stuff... and not in Windows.

Exactly. I've been looking for anything new with 16GB and at least 256 RAM for months for under $450 and it's like they don't exist anymore.
