These 1.5V lithium AA rechargeables stand out for devices that want alkaline-like voltage, especially Xbox controllers, Blink cameras, smart locks, and other power-hungry gear. The included holder doubles as the charger, which makes charging simpler, and the batteries are reported to hold 1.5V longer than NiMH cells. Runtime can be strong, with some setups lasting weeks or months. The main cautions are sudden drop-off with little warning, compatibility limits with the charger and chemistry, and occasional dead or failing cells. A practical option if you need full-voltage AAs and can handle the charging quirks.

They work very close to the alkaline AA batteries. The lithium keeps the 1.5v at a higher rate before dropping off at the end. So the advantage of this is to power devices that uses high voltage.

In contrast, our daily rechargeable Ni-MH batteries generally keeps about a 1.2V max and drops off quicker then these. So these are better but be aware they aren't your daily rechargeable battery.
this. regular alkaline AAs are 1.5v and eventually get weaker and deliver less voltage. NiMH like Eneloops only deliver 1.2v.

for most devices, this is fine. If they take 2 AAs, they are designed to work with only 2.4v even though they get 3v with fresh batteries. but some devices are very picky.

for example, i had a logitech mouse that took AAs and my eneloops would die in 2-3 days. but it'd last 3-4 weeks with plain ol' duracells. it's because NiMH only provide 1.2v at full charge. these lithium batteries actually deliver the full 1.5v so if you have power hungry devices that require the full voltage, these will work while eneloops won't.

if you read the instructional manual, many devices will warn you not to use nimh batteries because they are undervoltage.

are you using the included USB-C charger? you need enough wattage to charge these quickly. any old USB power will provide a trickle charge and will work, but as you said, it'll take all day.

The battery gets hot during charging; how can it dissipate heat with such a tight enclosure?
charge it with a lower amp output charger
it is gonna take longer but better for the battery

You mean the included "Charging storage box" or "Charger wall lock" (not included), it requires 5V/3Ablock..? Is there any other charging device can charge those batteries?

PNJJDPVL still seems to work. If you're using the Amazon app don't forget to tap the arrow in the promo code box to apply the code.

I got this a while back, I put it on a fast charger not thinking as all my other devices use that for USB.c. And the charging box had started to melt. Glad I noticed it when I did else I'd be needing a new home from a lithium fire

you put them into the case and then charge them via USB-C. if you plug them into a low amp charger (like a standard 1A charger) its gonna take forever. most wall blocks aren't gonna push 3A to charge these at full speed.

Mine the "USB-C" is not included. They recommends 5V/3A charger, but not "more" than 3A: damaged.?

no, you can plug it into any charger, USB devices "negotiate" and only draw the power it needs.

they specifically recommend a "5V3A power supply" so you want a charger that provides a minimum of 15 watts

A wall charger capable of more than 3A is fine as the device will draw what it needs only. A charger over 3 amp is just more capable only. The voltage however is what needs to match.
