For a while, these CD threads were always at lower interest rates than treasury bonds. I'm glad to see one of these that actually pays you more than an (exempt from state tax) one year treasury.

Thanks. Really just 45 days lockup cause the bonus is earned within 30 days. Not bad really.

Since Etrade has been bought over by the crooked Morgan Stanley.....they have been holding cash i send into my acct for 3 or more days before I get my credit....imagine them doing this to millions of customersEVERYDAY and you get how they are making money even more by shortchanging you.ETrade previously gave credit the next day...have decided to put my money elsewhere now ! Have been with Etrade for 20 years

My local credit union is offering over 8.3% checking (up to $10,000)
requires 15 transactions on their debit card and $1.000 deposit every month

they also have 3 month cd at 3.82%

That's a great offer if you don't have a lot of money. This offer is better for those that do. And who is offering 8.3% ? The highest I've seen has been 6% up to $20K

a few things interest rates went up to 4.7% 10 yr. 1 yr thanks to federal reserve being corrupt and idiotic lowered short term rates when it needed to go up as we now know

also as we now know ai and datacenters are inflationary not deflationary as they produce nothing of value giving cheap loans to fang stonks was counter intuitive and idiotic.
