What makes that such a good light?
I mean, it's mostly what I already listed.. and ArkPro Ultra having USB-C means you don't need the proprietary charger to charge it, which means you're not screwed if you lose it.
The ArkPro Ultra is a little fancier too in terms of indicating status via the 'mode selector knob', but I don't really care so much about that - I mostly just want USB-C recharging as is pretty standard on most nice lights now.
I have several different iterations of the Arkfeld line. This Arkfeld Ultra is still a great light, but my favorite upgrade on the newer Arkpro Ultra is that there's two different white flashlight modes, a flood and a spot, along with the UV and laser. The Arkfeld Ultra just has one general purpose white mode. Since it's an EDC light, the addition of usb c charging is a pretty huge addition as well.
ArkPro Ultra is a SIGNIFICANTLY better flashlight with USB C, Titanium-like OAL metal alloy, Olights proprietary Pure Flood LED, and fancier indicators and dials. It's the best light I've ever had. Huge upgrade in comparison to the Arkfeld Ultra. I know they sound similar and can be confusing. It's WELL worth the $25 ish extra.
I have it. I got it from LongHorn Tactical with discount code. Paid about $105 ish for it. LongHorn often has some promo codes. Google it and you'll find it.

I believe Arkfeld line is going to be discontinued.
There is no really benefit to paying premium prices unless you want premium. Sure other lights have more features but Olight didn't just come up yesterday. There are many positive reviews that outnumber negative. I myself have the standard OCLIP, OCLIP Pro S, and Arkpro Ultra. No regrets because I didn't pay retail. Got the steals and deals on the whatnot app.

This is very close to the ArkPro Ultra in terms of specs, and I personally like the magnetic charging that Olight has had for years, even have a multi light charging strip that is very convenient.
