Use the existing phone and text TRANSFER to 611611, it will confirm and ask for new phone IMEI, once complete check balances on account. After about 10-15 minutes, do the same on the new phone via text and it will move back to the original phone with combined balances. Just did it yesterday.

When activating the phone, select that you want to transfer your existing number. The minutes/texts/data/service time in the bundle will be added to the existing balance when the service is transferred to the new phone. Wait a day, and repeat with the second phone. If you want to go back to your original phone, then wait another day, and reactivate that phone.

This bundle is mainly useful as cheap Tracfone service and a possible harvest source, not as a daily phone. The A03 is very slow, runs old Android 11, and is best kept for calls, texts, or transferring the included year of service and 1,500 minutes, texts, and data to another line. Activation can be finicky, with some orders missing the plan or needing seller or Tracfone support to attach it. The safest takeaway is that the service value is the draw, while the phones themselves are dated and limited.

  • The bundle can extend service by transferring an existing number during activation, which adds the bundle minutes, texts, and data to the current balance.

    sdandyGoofballPaulMark2276

  • The activation workflow can be repeated for the second phone, and it can also be reversed by reactivating the original phone with the existing number option.

    sdandyNoDavrx3m

  • Service harvesting can work quickly when the plan is correctly attached, and minutes and data may carry over after transfers.

    KatjaZHaroldjohnnyblades

  • Some activations successfully stack airtime onto an existing BYOP line, including cases where both phones include the 1-year plan.

    oregon14ScArFaCeejohnnyblades

  • The A03 hardware can feel unusably sluggish for everyday use, which makes the phones better suited for service harvesting than daily operation.

    BGRTjohnnybladesNoDa

  • The bundle may not include the 1-year plan on both phones, and activation can prompt plan purchase or show no airtime attached.

    StackDealershruiikenshruiiken

  • Texting TRANSFER to 611611 can cause loss of existing TracFone min, text, and data, and it may also lead to port-in limbo for some workflows.

    FaithfulFaucet320FaithfulFaucet320FaithfulFaucet320

  • TracFone support and online activation can be unreliable, and some issues require contacting the eBay seller or filing returns to resolve missing plans or balances.

Harvesting is still a thing? Figured they closed that down like everything else that was good.

IMO a couple of more interesting items they have on sale on their eBay store are

https://www.ebay.com/itm/287503823650 - $60 365 day plan. This is probably most useful for unlocking any TF phone after 1 year of activation.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/287505854589 - Moto G Stylus 5G 2024 w/ 1 year plan, maybe the best phone per dollar device they have on sale that comes with a future unlock date

For the phone itself, the A03 is not terribly useful as a daily driver. Maybe only for calls and texts. A phone of last resort. Apps will be laggy. Used one myself a few years back.

One activation I did a few months ago didn't work online (kept telling me there was a problem and to try again later), but worked fine using the automated phone system. It seems the online system craps out for some reason sometimes, but the other methods still work.

Are we sure it's 2 years of service? The wording and pricing suggest 2 phones but only 1 year of service.
